Tameside Wellness Centre

A charity-run aquatics center builds up its community. In the small town of Denton, just outside Manchester, lies the Tameside Wellness Centre - a non-profit facility designed to emphasize and improve the community’s quality of life.

A modern aquatics center, built to provide for residents of all ages, the Tameside complex gives residents a place to relax after a session in the gym, socialize in the café area after a swim, or just get in a quick workout. The center is beautifully equipped with a Myrtha learn-to-swim pool and built-in accessibility ramp, as well as an 8-lane competition pool, with Myrtha Track Start blocks and an accompanying grandstand. From swimming classes to competitions to kids’ private parties and more, the Tameside facility is truly a social hub within a tight-knit community. And to top it off, if the ten-pin bowling alley, wellness area and rooftop garden/fitness area don’t say fun for all ages, then you’ll just have to take our word for it!
