July, 2015. The 17th edition of the Pan Am Games took place in Toronto, Canada, at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, the sports center of the University of Toronto Scarborough.
In this facility, built in 2013, Myrtha Pools installed a competition pool and a training pool, designed with Myrtha technology. The complex, built according to LEED principles of ecosostenibility, features an arena of 6,000 seats and is the only aquatic facility in the area that meets international competition standards and the first facility with a warm up pool.
The competition pool is provided with two removable headwalls and two movable bulkheads, that allow several activities in the pool.The training pool features a removable headwall, two movable bulkheads and two movable floors 25×12,5m, to provide a variety of shallow-water fitness activities and facilitate access for individuals with disabilities.
In this facility Myrtha Pools also installed a 25m diving pool, built using Myrtha technology.
