Doral Central Park is one of the largest and most dynamic public spaces in Florida, setting a new standard for city parks.
Its state-of-the-art aquatic centre features multiple Myrtha pools, including a 50-metre competition pool featuring a Myrtha movable bulkhead, a leisure free-form pool with slides, a splash pad, a training pool, locker rooms and grandstand seating. Designed to serve local schools and universities, the centre offers swim teams a competition-calibre space to train and compete in swimming water-polo and diving.
The first phase of the complex was completed in 2024 and featured a skate park, an amphitheatre, playgrounds, a kayak launch, fitness stations, sports courts, and shaded picnic areas. The second phase, which included the aquatic centre and an 80,000-square-foot community centre, was delivered in 2025. This centre is equipped with a modern fitness facility, an indoor running track, a double gymnasium, classrooms, lounges for teens and seniors, an art room, a teaching kitchen and indoor play areas.
The project team includes Pool Contractor, RDC, Architect, Bermello Ajamil & Partners, Inc., Associate Architect, Hastings Chivetta, and Aquatic Consultant, Counsilman-Hunsaker.
