Piscine de Vallorbe

Vallorbe's historic municipal swimming pool, constructed in 1953, underwent its first renovation in 1994. Thirty years later, Myrtha Pools was commissioned to conduct a second renovation in collaboration with the architectural firm Jenzer + Partner.

Given the distinctive configuration of the Myrtha pool, which comprises three different swimming areas, Myrtha employed a range of proprietary technologies to achieve the desired outcome. These included RenovAction technology, which enables the pool to be renovated without the need for a complete demolition.

The pool has been divided into two distinct areas: a designated swimming area with four lanes and, in the second half of the pool, two additional sections. The younger children's section features a shallow depth and a safety perimeter, while the diving area has a depth of 3.6 meters.

The learning area was enhanced with the addition of a slide for children, while the high-depth area was implemented with a diving board and platform. The Vallorbe municipal swimming pool is an excellent illustration of Myrtha's adaptability, even in the context of renovation projects, thanks to the innovative RenovAction technology.
