Located in the heart of California, the aquatic facility at West Valley High School had reached a point where a significant renovation was necessary.
Originally built using traditional construction methods, the existing pool had become outdated and no longer met the needs of a modern educational and training environment.
To deliver a reliable and cost-effective solution without requiring complete demolition, the choice fell on RenovAction technology, a system specifically designed for the refurbishment of existing pools. By retaining the original structure, the school was able to minimise both downtime and costs, while achieving a substantial improvement in performance and quality.

Since diving was no longer part of the school’s sports programme, the pool layout was reconfigured to better serve current needs. Most of the existing shell was upgraded with Myrtha RenovAction, while a new wall built using Myrtha technology allowed the pool to be shortened accordingly. The result is a fully waterproof, modern facility, delivered with minimal disruption and built to last.
Developed in collaboration with California Commercial Pools and designed by Arch Parc Aquatics, the project showcases the adaptability and precision of Myrtha's technologies, tailored to serve local communities. It stands as a smart investment in the well-being of today’s students and in the growth of future generations of swimmers.
