July 2016. The Olympic Swim Trials took place in Omaha, Nebraska City.
The event represented for the over 1500 American athletes the last chance to win a spot in the US team that would access the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in August. After eight days of tight competition at the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials in Omaha 47 athletes won the pass to the Rio Games and 30 of them flown to the Olympics for the first time.

To host competitions and training Trials Americans were two tanks built inside the CenturyLink Center in Omaha.Two Myrtha pools featuring filtration system were installed at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha to host both training sessions and competitions. Myrtha team completed the two pools in two weeks: a record installation time, ten times faster than the conventional methods of construction.
The pools, both temporary, have been dismantled after the games and permanently reinstalled in other venues.
