In 2023, the flagship Life Time Fitness centre in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, embarked on a major upgrade to its ageing aquatic facilities.
By adopting Myrtha’s RenovAction technology, the project avoided the expense and disruption of a full demolition and instead revitalised the existing concrete pool using Myrtha’s stainless-steel modular panels. The result is a durable, future-proof solution that has completely reshaped the 11,000 sq ft aquatic area.
Delivered in 2024 on time and on budget by DWR Aquatics, the renewed space now includes a six-lane, 25-yard competition pool and a freeform leisure pool featuring a beach entry, geysers, interactive play elements and dual water slides. This transformation allows the centre to offer a modern aquatic experience that caters to competitive swimmers, families and everyday fitness users alike.
