The cooperative relationship between Myrtha Pools and Life Time Fitness takes a tall stride forward with the inclusion of 8 elevated pools as part of Lifetime’s facility within the new One Chicago structure in the city’s River North area.
Designed by Myrtha Pools, these liquid jewels provide a winning blend of function and form for club patrons. The project also highlights Myrtha’s ability to hit tight deliverable timelines. In spite of construction challenges and pandemic-based obstacles, all of the pools were produced, delivered and completely installed in less than a single calendar year.

Indoor pool
The 6-lane, 25-yard lap pool offers an eye-opening setting for a good workout, as two sides of the pool provide views of the ninth-floor terrace just outside through glass panels. This fully tiled fitness pool is a wonderful blend of utility and elegance, and demonstrates Myrtha’s unique ability to provide elevated pools in relatively large dimensions.

Within both the men’s and women’s locker rooms are a warm spa and a cold plunge – the perfect private restorative opportunity following a workout.

Outdoor Pools
For social engagement, the three outdoors pools are sublime. A leisure pool with stunning views to the West promises to be a summer sweet spot at sundown, while two elevated warm spas offer an aerial view of the entire ninth-floor terrace area and a nice glimpse of the neighborhood – the perfect perch from which to observe the Windy City with a bird’s eye view.
